She has conducted community assessments, interviews, focus groups, mediated conflicts among stakeholders, and developed and managed major communications/outreach campaigns.

Ms. Padilla has a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles. She also worked for ten years as a draftsman/designer in architecture and engineering. She has completed UCLA Extension courses in CEQA and NEPA (environmental review processes) and the Professional Certification Program for Global Logistics Specialist®. Ms. Padilla is also trained in mediation and dispute resolution.

Ms. Padilla is a member of the American Planning Association (APA) and the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS), and is a board member of the LA Women’s Transportation Coalition. Ms. Padilla is bilingual and bicultural.
