Katherine Padilla, is a communications specialist with expertise in organizational development, marketing research and strategy, and community and government relations. She has primary responsibility for the firm’s development and growth, and for consultation and oversight of clients’ strategic direction. She is an experienced Project Manager who has been involved with many milestone projects in the Southern California region including the Port of Los Angeles’ Waterfront Development Project, the I-710 Major Corridor Study and LAC MTA’s Metro Red, Blue and Gold Line Rail Projects. Prior to starting KP&A, she was Project Manager for MIG, Inc., a planning and communications firm.
Ms. Padilla’s work with controversial public works projects refined her expertise in collaborative planning and effective public process management. Ms. Padilla is a Certified Charrette Manager, Charrette Planner and Certified Public Meeting Facilitator who has extensive in facilitating groups through visioning, scoping and goal setting strategies.
